The Arcade
Academy 17 is a 10 minute walk from Eltham Palace hidden at the back of Eltham Arcade on Eltham High Street in Greenwich, London. It is one of the 1930’s Art Deco chains of shops housed by a glass roof and classic décor, this includes a soft play area for kids, fashion and boutique baby wear. In the summer you can relax under the arcade roof outside of the shop in the sun and be out of any wind and rain on a typical English day, we have been told the atmosphere is cosy inside the shop which is downstairs, we have activities and space for creative events upstairs also.

Eltham is a district of southeast London, England, within the Royal Borough of Greenwich. It is 8.7 miles east-southeast of Charing Cross, and is identified in the London Plan as one of 35 major centres in Greater London.
Eltham was a civil parish of Kent until 1889 when it became part of the County of London and from 1900 formed part of the Metropolitan Borough of Woolwich. The metropolitan borough was abolished in 1965 and Eltham then became part of the then Royal Borough of Greenwich.
